Dean Colucci is President and COO of McNicoll Lewis & Vlak (MLV), a boutique investment bank and institutional broker-dealer focused on raising capital more efficiently for public companies in capital intensive industries. Since becoming a member firm in early 2010, MLV has rapidly become a leader in At-the-Market (ATM) Offerings and the issuance of perpetual (non-convertible) preferred equity. Prior to joining MLV, Dean was a partner for 10 years at DLA Piper, a leading global law firm, where he was a leader in the firm’s Corporate Finance group. At DLA Piper, Dean was at the forefront of developing several “At-the-Market Offering” products for the equity capital markets, many of which form the basis of MLV’s current product offerings. Dean has a J.D. from the George Mason University School of Law, an M.I.A. from the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, and an A.B. from the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell University. While at Cornell, Dean was a four year member of the varsity wrestling team, where he won or placed in several intercollegiate tournaments. Attending Xaverian High School in Brooklyn, Dean was a New York State Private and Parochial School Champion. Dean is currently also a trustee for the Summit Youth Wrestling Club in New Jersey. Outside of wrestling, over the last several years, Dean has been an active triathlon participant and is a two time Ironman USA finisher. Dean and his wife Anne Marie live in Summit, New Jersey with their three sons Dante, Christian, and Niccoló.
