The 2012-13 Junior League Championships are taking place this coming Saturday, February 12th, 2013. The location has been moved and it will now be taking place at the Manhattan Training Center at 145 Thompson Street in SoHo.

Kids Division
- Qualify: Must be 5th grade and below, but cannot be born after December 31, 2006
- Weight classes: 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 87, 95, 103, 112, 120, 120+ (20 lbs.max difference)
- Weigh-ins: 7:30 am - 8:00 am
- Wrestling Begins: 8:30 am, expect to finish at 10:30 am
Junior Division
- Qualify: must be 6th or 7th grader
- Weight classes: 60, 65 70, 77, 84, 91, 98, 105, 112, 120, 128, 136, 144, 152, 160, 175, 190, 210, 265
- Weigh-ins: 8:00 am - 9:00 am
- Wrestling: 10:00 am, expect to finish at 2:30 pm
Senior Division
- Qualify: 8th graders only
- Weight classes: 70, 77, 84, 91, 98, 105, 112, 120, 128, 136, 144, 152, 160, 175, 190, 210, 265
- Wreigh-ins: 9:00 am - 10:00 am
- Wrestling Begins: 11:00 am, expect to finish at 6pm
Awards
- Medals will be awarded to the top three place winners in each weight class.
- The three Divisions will also be used to determine the six wrestlers that qualifier for the USA Wrestling state tournament, which is taking place in Bayshore March 1-3, 2013.
- The state divisions will be Bantam, Intermediate, Novice and Schoolboy. (See USA Wrestling Age Groups)
- BTS will assist the top three qualifiers in each weight class with expenses to the State meet.
ALSO!
This tournament will be used to determine the Rutgers Travel Team.
- Who: BTS will select a travel team from this tournament to represent BTS in a dual meet with BTS Philadelphia. on Feb. 24th in Camden, NJ.
- What: Dual meet with Beat the Streets Philadelphia
- When: Sunday, Feb. 24th at 11:00 am. Bus leaves the MTC TBD.
- Where: Rutgers University. This meet will take place before the Rutgers vs. Penn State college dual meet.
- PLUS - Wrestlers selected will be provided with transportation and their coach will be invited to join us. Both coach and wrestler will receive a meal and ticket to the Rutgers vs. Penn State meet.
