On Saturday, May 17 the famous Harlem Armory will be the site of one of the largest middle school championships in the New York City area. Over 60 school programs and 600 area youth will be ready to compete for the ultimate prize, the 2008 BTS middle school championship title.
Last year, the championship title was shared by IS 291/Brooklyn, and Baruch Middle School/Manhattan. This year both Novice and Fortress divisions will be competing in the same venue in separate championships.
The tournament will feature added specialties like announcers, a music DJ, movies, and a parade. The Championships will begin with the Novice division championships 8 am-12:45 pm followed by the Fortress division championships with a 1pm start.
