Dave Barry is President of Applied Development Company, one of New Jersey's preeminent real estate development companies. The company owns and manages over 6000 residential units throughout New Jersey and currently has approximately $1 billion in development. Mr. Barry's responsibilities include oversight of all aspects of real estate development for the Company including planning, acquisition, approval, financing, construction, marketing, sales and leasing. Some recent projects developed under Mr. Barry's supervision include the Port Liberté and Columbus Towers in Jersey City; the Shipyard and W Hotel in Hoboken; Harrison Commons in Harrison; Woodlands at Upsala in East Orange and Pier Village and Beach North in Long Branch. Mr. Barry possesses substantial experience with a multitude of development issues including Brownfields remediation, public/private partnerships, redevelopment law, environmental permitting, CAFRA and waterfront development regulations. Mr. Barry received his B.A. from Columbia University, 1987 and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, 1990.
